Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Sweyam Technologies for using Kasho. Written to be readable — please read them before you start.

Last updated 13 October 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a Kasho account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Kasho. "Kasho", "we", and "us" mean Sweyam Technologies, Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

2. What Kasho is

Kasho is a hosted tool for keeping a personal record of your money — accounts, transactions, budgets, savings goals, shared expenses, and household planning. It shows you your own numbers and simple calculations based on them.

Kasho is not a bank, payment service, accountant, or investment adviser. Nothing in the product is financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Decisions you make with the help of Kasho are your own.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you use Kasho on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.

4. Your account

Sign-in is handled by Sweyam Auth. You are responsible for keeping access to your account credentials and devices secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Kasho for anything unlawful, or to store or transmit unlawful content;
  • upload data about other people without a lawful basis to do so;
  • attempt to break, overload, probe, or circumvent the security of the service, or access data that is not yours;
  • scrape, bulk-export other users’ data, or use automated means to access the service beyond normal use and any documented API;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly allowed;
  • reverse engineer the service except to the limited extent the law permits despite this restriction.

6. Your data and content

You keep all rights to the financial records and content you put into Kasho. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, back up, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you, and to provide the sharing features you switch on.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you enter. You can export your data and delete your account at any time; deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Kasho and Sweyam intellectual property

Kasho, the Kasho name and logo, Sweyam marks, the product UI, documentation, and the underlying software (excluding your content and third-party components) are owned by Sweyam Technologies or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that intellectual property to you.

You may use the service and display Kasho branding only as needed to identify the authentic product. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of our software or marks, register confusingly similar names or domains, or imply sponsorship or endorsement without our prior written permission, except to the limited extent applicable open-source licences or law expressly allow.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kasho available and reliable, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may occasionally suspend the service for maintenance or to protect it. Features labelled beta or preview may change or be withdrawn.

9. Fees, subscriptions, and ads

Kasho offers a free plan that may display advertisements, and paid Kasho Pro plans that remove ads and unlock paid features. Prices, billing period, and taxes (including GST where applicable) are shown at checkout before you pay.

  • Android — Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Google Play’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms. Manage or cancel in Google Play subscription settings.
  • Web — Pro is sold through Razorpay Subscriptions (cards, UPI, and other methods Razorpay supports). Auto-renewal continues until you cancel according to the checkout and account controls we provide, or until the subscription ends under Razorpay’s rules. Refunds follow Razorpay/merchant policies and applicable law; initiate requests via in-product help or [email protected].
  • Entitlement — Play and web subscriptions both grant Kasho Pro access on your account. Buying in one store does not automatically create a second charge in the other; avoid duplicate purchases. Access lasts for the paid period shown after verification.
  • Taxes — Fees may be exclusive of applicable taxes unless the store checkout states otherwise. GST and other taxes collected by Play or Razorpay appear on their receipts.
  • Changes — We may change plan prices or features with notice; changes apply to new purchases and renewals as stated at the time.

Except where Google Play, Razorpay, or mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable once the paid period has started.

10. Third-party services

Kasho relies on Sweyam Auth for identity (including Google sign-in where you choose it); Google AdMob and AdSense for ads on free plans; Google Play Billing and Razorpay for paid subscriptions; and infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare, hosting, object storage, email, and monitoring vendors to operate. Your use of any third-party service you connect or reach through Kasho is also governed by that provider’s terms and privacy notices.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that calculations and projections will meet your expectations. Kasho does not provide professional advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Kasho in that period or ₹5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sweyam and its partners and employees from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by us.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Kasho and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a security or legal risk — with notice where practical. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Store-managed subscriptions may continue to bill until you cancel them in Play or via Razorpay/web controls.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any right you have to approach a consumer forum, the courts at Kozhikode, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to Kasho or these Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Kasho after that means you accept the updated Terms.
