1. What this covers

This policy explains cookies and local storage used on the Kasho marketing site, the Kasho web application, and related Sweyam-hosted pages for Kasho. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

2. Strictly necessary cookies and storage

We use cookies and browser storage that are required for the service to work securely:

• Session and authentication state after you sign in through Sweyam Auth.
• Security measures such as CSRF or replay protection where applicable.
• Interface preferences you set (for example theme).

These are not used to build advertising profiles. Because they are necessary to provide the service you request, we do not show a separate opt-in banner for them alone.

3. Advertising cookies (free plan, web)

If you use the Kasho web app without an ad-free plan, Google AdSense may set or read cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads and measure delivery. Mobile apps use Google AdMob with non-personalised ad requests; mobile advertising identifiers are handled by the OS and Google’s SDKs as described in their policies.

We do not send your ledger balances, transactions, or notes to ad networks. Kasho Pro removes in-product ads.

Before AdSense loads on the Kasho web app, we ask for advertising-cookie consent through the on-site cookie banner (Cookie preferences in the marketing footer, or Settings → Privacy in the app). Choosing “Necessary only” keeps the product working without loading AdSense. Choosing “Accept ads cookies” allows AdSense; we still request non-personalised ads where the tag supports it. Upgrade to Kasho Pro to remove product ads regardless of cookie choice.

4. Marketing site

The marketing site may include an AdSense publisher meta tag for programme verification. It does not load a separate product-analytics suite. Third-party fonts (for example Google Fonts) may connect to Google when pages load. The same cookie banner records your advertising preference for this site.

5. How to manage cookies

• Use Cookie preferences in the marketing site footer, or Settings → Privacy → Cookie preferences in the web app, to change your choice anytime.
• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies; blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in.
• On Android/iOS, reset advertising identifiers or limit ad tracking in system settings.
• Upgrade to Kasho Pro to remove in-app and in-web product ads.
