Connections

Lending to friends should not live in WhatsApp.

A loan between friends deserves a shared record — amount, terms, and confirmations — with consent at every step. Not a forgotten chat from six months ago.

Connect first. Share only what you choose.

Send an invite link or a request to a discoverable handle.

The other person accepts before you create shared lending records. A connection does not open your personal accounts, balances, or transaction history.

  • Mutually accepted connections
  • Handle discovery is optional
  • Reuse connected friends in expense-group invitations

From lending to repayment, one shared record

Keep the amount, agreed terms, and confirmations together.

Record money lent or request to borrow. Track receipt confirmation, one-time or installment schedules, and repayments confirmed by the other person. Changes to the repayment schedule need mutual acceptance.

  • Clear outstanding and pending amounts
  • Shared documents and agreement history
  • In-app notifications and due-date reminders

From a friend to a shared trip

Invite connections when it is time to split a bill.

Choose or create an expense group from a connection and invite that friend without re-entering details. They still accept before gaining access. Kasho records payments made outside the app; it does not move money for you.
